You are looking at an original composition Elsie Gilbert's Trudy doll, 3 - face expression sleepy, weepy and smily-, original clothing, beautiful craftsmanship. This doll has 3 face expression that can be changed with the button knob on top of the head, just turn it and you can change the faces. There is some light damage on one of the faces, some light fading on the clothing and also some small holes as pictured. Body is cloth and only head is composition with blonde hair. I have to also note that there is a tear on one of the arms which to my knowledge it can be repaired. Other than that I think that doll is in very good condition noting that is from the 1940's.
